Relighting the spell candle won't affect the sigil, but it might diminish the spell. Again, that's fine because the two will have the same goal. However, it won't have as much power as the method described here because you will be focused on the spell, rather than on the sigil. Question: Can I use a sigil just as an assistant to a specific spell? Say, if I carve it on the candles? If I decided to light the candles over a few days will it affect the power of the sigil?Īnswer: Yes, that's a good use of a sigil. You can keep it if you really want to, but you won't have that same 'sending it out there' vibe. If I wanted to repeat the spell, I'd make another (and different) sigil. Answer: Personally, I'd only use it once.
